Kitchen Ledger — Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 20, 2026

Kitchen Ledger is built around one promise: your information stays with you.

What we collect

Nothing. Kitchen Ledger does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. There are no accounts, no sign-in, and no user profiles.

Where your data lives

Every recipe you add, every cookbook you build, every shopping list, and every pantry preference is stored only on your device, inside the app's own private storage. None of it is ever uploaded to us or to anyone else.

Photos

When you add a photo to a recipe, that photo is copied into the app's private storage on your device and stays there. Your photos are never uploaded, never shared, and never leave your device. Kitchen Ledger only touches your photo library to import a photo you specifically choose.

No tracking, no analytics, no ads

Kitchen Ledger contains no analytics, no advertising, no tracking technologies, and no third-party software development kits. We do not build a profile of you, and we have no way to see how you use the app.

No network connection

Kitchen Ledger works entirely offline. The app does not connect to the internet, so there is nothing to intercept, and it behaves exactly the same in airplane mode as it does anywhere else.

Children's privacy

Because Kitchen Ledger collects no data at all, it collects no data from children. The app is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages.

Data retention and deletion

Your data stays on your device for as long as you keep the app installed. Deleting the app removes all of its data from your device. Because we never receive your data, there is nothing for us to retain or delete on our end.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will post the updated version at this address and revise the effective date above.
